Dingo Working Group
The group promotes the study and conservation of dingoes in Australia and New Guinea. It supports transdisciplinary collaboration on their ecological and socio-cultural value, population genetics, conservation, management and policy, and disseminates relevant information to decision-makers, practitioners, researchers and the public.

Objectives
Clarify the status and genetic relationships of wild canids in Papua New Guinea, Southeast Asia and Australia.
Identify evolutionarily significant dingo populations and regions with limited domestic-dog introgression.
Study how dingo management affects dispersal, population structure and genetic mixing.
Assess the ecological and population-level effects of dingo control on dingoes and other fauna.
Expand evidence on management tools and encourage effective non-lethal approaches where appropriate.
