Maned Wolf Working Group
The group strengthens communication and collaboration among countries within the maned wolf’s range. It brings together researchers from different disciplines to assess information, identify conservation problems, reduce impacts and coordinate strategies for the species across South America.

Objectives
Identify and address country-specific conservation problems affecting maned wolves.
Monitor, implement and update the Maned Wolf Action Plan.
Facilitate exchange of knowledge and experience among researchers across South America.
Provide conservation advice and recommendations to IUCN and the Canid Specialist Group.
